McColgan to miss Glasgow Games defence after foot fracture

Eilish McColgan will not compete in the 10,000m at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow due to a foot fracture. McColgan won the 10,000m title at the previous Commonwealth Games. The athlete's injury did not heal sufficiently to allow her participation in the event in her home country.
