Buffett favors an estate tax, but like virtually all billionaires, he won't be paying it

Warren Buffett stated he believes very wealthy Americans are under-taxed. Buffett announced plans to give his fortune to charity rather than leave it to his heirs. Charitable donations are not subject to estate taxes, allowing Buffett to avoid billions in potential estate tax payments that would otherwise go to the government.
