Major egg producers settle price inflation probe for $3.3 million

Cal-Maine Foods, Versova, and Hickman's Egg Ranch agreed to pay 3.3 million dollars to settle allegations of price manipulation investigated by the Department of Justice and 17 states. The settlement resolves claims that the companies coordinated pricing practices. Terms of the agreement were not detailed in the settlement announcement.
