Uber and Waymo to end exclusivity arrangement in Atlanta and Austin

Waymo and Uber announced an end to their exclusive arrangement in Atlanta and Austin, with Waymo's driverless rides becoming available on other platforms beginning in 2028. The companies did not disclose terms of the change. Waymo currently operates robotaxi services in both cities through the Uber app.
