ICC top prosecutor removed over sexual misconduct allegations

Karim Khan, the International Criminal Court's chief prosecutor, was removed from his position following an investigation into allegations that he engaged in an improper sexual relationship with a junior ICC staff member and sought to prevent her from pursuing a complaint. Khan denied the allegations. The ICC's office of internal audit and investigations conducted the probe that led to his removal.
