Paramount agrees to delay WBD acquisition to as late as June 2027 amid legal challenge

Paramount announced Friday it has agreed to extend the deadline for completing its acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery to no later than June 2027, according to a statement from the company. The previous completion target was the end of September 2026. Paramount characterized the extension as beneficial to its transaction timeline.
