Cornell, Northwestern and Other Universities Plan for Classes at Middle East Campuses

Cornell University, Northwestern University, and other American institutions plan to operate academic programs at campuses in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia. The universities announced these plans following the breakdown of a cease-fire agreement involving the United States and Iran. Cornell and Northwestern have existing operations in the Gulf region and intend to continue and expand their presence there.
