In Trump v. Barbara, the Supreme Court ruled that depriving birthright citizenship from children born in the U.S. to parents who are in the country illegally violates the 14th Amendment. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson wrote a concurring opinion in the case. Justice Clarence Thomas wrote a dissenting opinion. Jackson's concurring opinion addressed Thomas's position on the case.
