Tesla starts testing Cybercab without pedals or a steering wheel in Austin

Tesla has begun testing a prototype vehicle called the Cybercab in Austin that lacks traditional pedals and a steering wheel. The vehicle is designed to operate autonomously without human controls. Musk announced plans for a Tesla robotaxi network in 2016. Testing of this prototype represents the company's first public demonstration of a fully autonomous vehicle design intended for that purpose.
